Snake Discovery Cancels Flight in Japan
A flight in Japan was canceled on October 20th after a surprising discovery was made. A mechanic found a snake inside the airplane cabin just before the flight was scheduled to leave.
The incident happened at Fukuoka Airport around 1 PM, as the plane was preparing to fly to Kagoshima. The snake, about 40 centimeters long, was found hidden under the carpet. Experts later identified it as a Japanese striped snake, which is not poisonous. The airline mentioned they did not know how the snake got onto the plane, and it was the first time this had happened to them.
The snake was safely removed from the aircraft. The flight was canceled, and the plane was taken out of service for the day.
